I was given one of those all-in-one blue bondi imacs so I'd like to gu
it and put in an XP or Ubuntu system for web browsing and music. Just
fun case mod project. It looks like an old TV set. Is a 2.6 mh
processor generally ok these days or must I have a faster system fo
watching streamed "TV" shows like "The Office"? I'm thinking tha
some folks here would have enough experience to warn me away from a to
slow of a system. I have a DSL internet connection. I'd like to do thi
cheaply and from old parts if possible. Any mobos come to mind? I hav
some old IDE drives and some ram and a power supply

I don't think that you'll be happy with this kind of "travertine"...-;)
What's wrong with this iMac anyway?

looked up
"travestine" ( that how it's supposed to be typed)
but I still don't get the reference. More clues?
